VOLUNTEERS ASSOCIATION OF TELEFONO ROSA IN BRONTE ONLUS

This association was established in 2011 and it is included in the Network L.R. since March 2012.
The Association of Telefono Rosa in Bronte is part of the mapping of the associations which answer to the number of public utility, 1522, established by the Equal Opportunities Department. The association’s volunteers are involved in activities of telephone listening and legal and psychological counseling for the users who call the Center. In addition to aid activities for victims of violence, the Telefono Rosa in Bronte promotes prevention initiative through communication campaigns, in agreement with the educational and awareness-raising agencies of the area.

The Association, represented by me, The president, who works as teacher with managerial duties, has carried out projects with Training Agencies in a territory of southern Italy, where gender stereotypes are still rooted in the groups of boys of compulsory education. The project lecturers at the Institute where the President of the Telefono Rosa Bronte serves, will be part of the project.
